Class #6 Black Magic Layout Class

and my final project. when i first saw this project i thought that the "bleach" technique was used so i made a scrapbook page for my oldest nephew and his family:

 

and then i watched the video from the class and boy was i wrong.

turns out that you don't bleach the lighter areas you actually use a opaque or chalkboard pen and then color over that.

class #8 was a challenge to "emboss resist" using daubers. i used black embossing powder just to give it a little pop.  i LIKE

another challenge was to, "select your FAVORITE TECHNIQUE FROM THE CLASSES OVER THE WEEKEND" and create something original. here is my attempt at that

Class #7- Spotlight Notepad

LOVED this project!!! maybe it was the butterflies that seemed to be just "hanging" off the card. added a little extra cuzz it seemed so plane and white.

Class #5- Gate Fold Card

 wasn't liking this project so much when i first started. seemed like the ink was drying before i could blend with the blender pen. but towards the second page i was setting some movement of the ink.

game #2 - we were to "Create ANY type of project (decor, layout, card, gift, anything) that showcases TAGS". i think i nailed this one

our third project was to create this little gift purse. very catour

Class #2 Watercolor Resist Technique Card

so our second class is called "watercolor resist". much like embossing resist only it's watercolor. LOVE this technique and will be playing with it with the club that i organize crafts for. simple and easy and POW what an impact the finish product has.
